Other features:
The closure is applied to the bottle due to a lower pressure (<350 PSI) than the traditional tinplate crown cap (>750 PSI) and this allows the use of using up to 20% lighter and/or thinner bottles. The aluminum does not rust (unlike many tinplate crown caps) and is totally recyclable. The design of the closure prevents any possible presence of dust and any risk of alteration of beverage characteristics and properties. Thanks to the characteristics of aluminum, which is totally recyclable and ultralight, the SuperC closure provides excellent sustainability credentials. SuperC travels on filling lines at twice the speed of ROPP capsules while ensuring a lower total cost. Tecnocap is developing new designs capable of adapting to an increasing number of bottles.
